Two key players from the Italian jazz scene, pianist Luigi Bonafede and saxophonist Pietro Tonolo play together for a unique session full of passion and surprise.

A collaboration of opposites, drawing on great talents in both composition and improvisation, The Bonafede-Tonolo duo's work is that of both tension and release.   Tonolo, a former classical violinist, has performed with Paul Motian's Electric Bebop Group .   Bonafede has performed with the likes of Lee Konitz , Steve Grossman , and Gerardo Frisina .
